The idea for this cello blog was inspired by my students. I wanted a space to celebrate them and inspire them as we create a cello community at the Grace Notes School of Music. They keep me constantly laughing and motivated to grow as a musician and educator. The Cello Tribe will be a place where I share their accomplishments, victories, struggles, and witticisms. Please enjoy Anna Kate's competition winning performance of David Popper's Hungarian Rhapsody, 5/5/18! She has been studying cello for 5.5 years now and is headed to the North Carolina School of the Arts this summer to study chamber music. Congratulations AK!!
