Grace Notes School of Music is pleased to announce
Beginning Violin Camp Jamboree 2024; June 17th - June 21st
Eligibility: Violin players from ages 5-12. The camp is designed for beginner violin students who can read notes and rhythms. Our goal is to expose young violinists to a fast learning pace and daily practicing techniques.
Location: Grace Notes School of Music, 10621 N Oak Hills Pkwy, Ste C, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
Camp Details: Camp dropoff will be available at 8am and pickup will end at 4:00pm. All music and educational activities to take place between the hours of 9am and 3pm. There will be a concert held on Friday, June 21st to showcase the students.
Activities: There will be several classes each day, including: Group Classes, Small Ensembles, Chamber Music Ensembles, Solo Masterclasses, Lessons, Art, Music Theory and Composition, and Musical Games and Activities.
Staff: The wonderful faculty of Grace Notes will be hosting our string camp along with special guests. This includes on violin Dr. Borislava Iltcheva and Dr. Aaron Farrell.
Costs: The total cost for the week is $300.
Registration: Space is limited and students are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to register is June 1st. There is a $100 deposit due at the time of registration that will be applied to your tuition balance.
