Kelly Nielsen

Kelly Nielsen is currently pursuing her Master of Music in Voice Performance at Louisiana State University. Originally from Wisconsin, she earned her Bachelor of Music from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point with emphasis in both piano and voice performance. Kelly is passionate about sharing her love of music with others and believes that learning music should be both rewarding and enjoyable. Her goal as a teacher is to help students develop strong technique and musicianship while encouraging confidence and creativity. As a performer, she has appeared as Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni and made her LSU debut in the collegiate premiere of Jake Heggie's Before It All Goes Dark. When she's not making music, Kelly enjoys competitive CrossFit, sipping coffee, and writing. She is thrilled to be part of Grace Notes and looks forward to helping each student grow and discover the joy of music.
