Eylül Ozturk is a highly accomplished violinist and educator with a rich career in both orchestral performance and chamber music. Originally from Turkey, Eylül embarked on her musical journey in Turkey at the young age of 6 when she was accepted into the conservatory. This early recognition of her talent set the stage for a remarkable career in classical music. Eylül's musical education took her to Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU), where she studied under the esteemed Dr. Victor Correa Cruz and completed her master's degree while serving as a graduate assistant. She recently completed her master's degree at SELU in 2024, further solidifying her commitment to musical excellence. Her talent and dedication led to significant achievements, including winning first place in SELU's concerto competition in 2023, followed by a memorable solo performance with the SELU Orchestra. Currently, Eylül is an integral member of two prominent orchestras in Louisiana: the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, where she has contributed her artistry for several years. Her orchestral career has also included performances in operas and ballets, adding depth and richness to her musical repertoire. Her orchestral career has afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned soloists and participate in master classes with distinguished musicians such as Vadim Gluzman, Hilary Hahn, Andrej Bielow, Amit Peled, Elizabeth Pitcairn, Angel Stankov, Lukas David, and Cihat Askin. Her performances have taken her across the globe, captivating audiences in countries such as Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Germany, Macedonia, Turkey, Spain, United States and Portugal. Beyond orchestral and solo performances, Eylül is an avid chamber musician, bringing her expressive interpretations to a diverse repertoire. Her passion for music extends to teaching; she began teaching violin at the age of 14. Eylül's commitment to music education is evident through her teaching at the Sugar Cane Learning Academy, where she shares her expertise with aspiring violinists. Eylul Ozturk’s commitment to both artistic excellence and education ensures a lasting impact on the next generation of musicians. She remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of classical music while nurturing the next generation of talent through teaching and collaboration.
