Pianist. Born in Caracas, Venezuela.
Ericka completed her studies at the National Conservatory of Music Juan Jose Landaeta, where she obtained her Bachelor as a Performing Pianist in 2008, under the instruction of Professor Carlos Urbaneja Silva. Ericka was taught chamber music for the first time at Escuela Mozarteum in Caracas between 2006 and 2008.
In February 2016, Ericka completed her undergraduate studies with an artistic and pedagogic focus at theUniversity of Music and Scenic Arts of Mannheim, Germany, under the instruction of Professor Michael Hauber.
Ericka has given different concerts as a soloist and as a pianist of chamber music in Venezuela. She has also been an instructor at Escuela Mozarteum in Caracas, accompanying Professor’s Adriana Virgüez’s viola class, as well as participated at the XI Festival of Chamber Music Centro Mozarteum in June 2018.
She holds a one-year Turner-Fischer Scholarship and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Piano Performance with a Major in Collaborative Piano with Professor Ana Maria Otamendi at Louisiana State University since August 2018.
